Blue Host Review

Bluehost is one of the largest Drupal hosting companies around, with hundreds of thousands of users. This is partly due to the fact that they have been around since 1996. Even though they offer unlimited features and boast come of the best support online, many users are reporting issues. Just how problematic is this company?

So, what are the facts about Bluehost? Well, the complaints are pretty strong. Many customers feel that Bluehost is lying to them, citing that even though Bluehost posts that they allow an unlimited amount of files, they complain when customers exceed 50,000. Also, it seems that they do indeed have storage space limits, even though they say that it also is unlimited. So, what is the truth about Bluehost? Are they really as aggravating and deceitful as these hateful reviews would lead you to believe, or is there perhaps more to the picture? Well, let's see if we cannot unravel some of these frustrations, and find the root of the problem.

Firstly, Bluehost does advertise unlimited space. Now people are complaining that Bluehost is telling them that they have too many files or if they exceed the maximum number of megabytes which shouldn't exist, since storage is supposed to be unlimited.

Ok, so what does this mean? Bluehost does indeed advertise unlimited storage on their site, quite heavily in fact. It's all over the site. The exact meaning of unlimited seems up for debate though. From the customer's point of view it seems odd that Bluehost would limit you to 50,000 files when they advertise unlimited storage. From Bluehost's point of view, a normal webiste should never even come close to using 50,000 files. If you're using that many you should be looking at VPS or a dedicated server. A shared server is just that, shared. It's meant for equal use amongst all on the server.
